News : Music in gyms - motivation or distraction?

. Saturday 30 April 2011

If you're in a gym, chances are you'll be pumping iron while listening to music, perhaps even from a DJ! While some experts feel pulsating music can motivate you for a workout, others feel it's a distraction and takes the focus away from exercise.

Shelly Mahajan, a fitness freak, hits the gym every day in the morning with groggy eyes, but the music helps her to get into the momentum.

Music is an essential part of a gym and with a growing demand, most gyms these days have live DJ sessions or international music to make the workout a fun session.

Nicholas Kraal, business development manager of Mumbai-based True Fitness India Pvt Ltd, says music is a great motivator.

"We have a dedicated DJ booth and professional DJs spin music from 6 a.m. to midnight. Equipped with the latest collection of music, our DJs also take music requests and play fun, fast-paced, pumping music to motivate and excite our members during workout sessions," said Kraal.

"The atmosphere provided in a gym is of utmost importance to us. We believe that music complements our state-of-the-art premium facilities."

Gyms have to make sure different music is used for different activities so that it matches the pace of that particular workout.

"Certain classes require specialised music based on beats. Aerobic instructors use music to keep the 32-count (32-beats per minute) or 120 beat per minute. A high impact class can even have anything between 130-140 beats per minute," said Althea Shah, general manager (operations) and fitness expert of the Gold Gym, Mumbai.

"There are aerobic songs for every decade, pretty much from the 1940s through the 1990s. Classes sometimes cater not by age but by musical taste with beach, jazz, hip-hop, Latin, classic rock, country, Broadway, classical, club, and disco aerobic music," he added.

Shah also points out that the reception area, spa and changing rooms have soft music playing while the workout area has fast paced music.

Some people prefer listening to their own collection while gymming and Amit Nigam is one of them - he prefers to bring in his own iPod for a workout.

"There are times when you get bored of the same beats or music and if you love a particular music genre, listening to another one can be torturous," he said.

"I like listening to trance, but mostly the gyms stick to the latest hits or hip-hops, so I avoid that and bring my own music. I prefer it this way," he added.

And there are a few who like to watch TV while working out and Kraal says it is a matter of personal choice.

"Watching TV or listening to personal music while working out is a personal choice and we respect that. Some members may find it more motivating to listen to a personal play list while others prefer TV as it helps them to take their mind off the physical exertion," he said.

"The iPod can be clipped on to your arm or T-shirt. It is tiny and so can be totally forgotten and you can workout without worrying about your headphones being dragged from your ears every 30 seconds," he added.

But there are some who don't like any distractions while gymming. Delhi-based personal trainer Aashu, who has been in the profession for over 14 years, prefers to train without music or television and doesn't agree with the "music motivational" theory.

"Listening to music or watching TV is just a way of getting distracted and not giving 100 percent to your workout and this affects results," he said.

"What happens when you are listening to your favourite music? Half your mind is enjoying it, and the other half is trying to get the posture right - so the focus that one requires in a workout is not there."

"People believe music motivates them, but does it actually? Why does one need music to motivate one for a workout? This is a clear indication that they are not enjoying their workout and doing it just for the sake of it. They need to change their workout, not music," he added.

Another fitness expert, Tasneem Zaki, also agrees with Aashu.

"I believe when you are doing cardio, it's good to listen to music because it helps to distract attention from the speedometer. But if you are doing weight-training, free-hand exercises or floor exercises, it's always better to switch off the music," he said.

News : IT sector to hire 2.5 lakh in 2011: Nasscom

.

NEW DELHI: Driven by steady recovery in demand for technology services, the Indian IT industry is expected to hire about 2.5 lakh people during this fiscal, software representative body Nasscom said.

"The top four players are expected to hire more than 1 lakh people this fiscal. The industry on a whole should add about quarter of a million people in this fiscal," Nasscom President Som Mittal told reporters here.

Pent-up demand for IT services after the slowdown and return of discretionary spending in the market are the key drivers, Mittal added.

Country's largest software exporter Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), during its annual results announcement, said it expects to hire about 60,000 people in FY12.

Scam-hit Satyam, which has since been rebranded Mahindra Satyam after Tech Mahindra took over, plans to hire over 18,000 people this fiscal.

According to staffing firm TeamLease Services, the overall hiring sentiment is bullish in IT and ITeS sectors.

"The hiring intent in IT and ITeS was the highest in cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune," it said.

For the year 2011-12, the industry body estimates the Indian IT-BPO sector has grown 19 per cent in 2010-11 to USD 76 billion in revenues.

"The market is upbeat but the Middle East and Japan crisis, the debt issue, these are macro economic variables and add to uncertainty. Economies are growing but companies are still cautious," Mittal said.

News : Delayed results put engineers' jobs at stake

.

JAIPUR: Around 1,000 engineering students of 2010 who reappeared in one or more subjects (backlog) of previous semesters are still awaiting their final results. A few of them are on verge of losing their jobs as they have failed to submit their final year result to their companies. The Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) had made tall claims of delivering result within three months of the exam on cellphone.

The university announced the result in four months but the final results of students, who appeared to clear their backlog, were not declared. Almost a year has passed but results have not been announced. Many students were disqualified after final selection for interviews in MNCs like Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture and TCS.

Rishikesh Mehta (name changed), with an IT firm in Bangalore was given an ultimatum to submit his final year marksheet by April 30. He took a week's off and landed in Kota three days ago. Since then, he has been trying to get his marksheet but has failed to get any response from the university.

"They don't reply on helpline numbers. They say it will come in five days and when we ask them after 25 days they say evaluation has not started," a student said.

The university management has denied charges of negligence and say lack of evaluators caused the delay. University official confirmed that due to only a few examinees they have outsourced result preparation and its publication. R P Yadav, vice-chancellor of RTU assured TOI of announcing the results in a week. He said, "This delay is because of the private agency hired before my tenure for compiling results." He said they have hired a new agency to speed up the process.

But students said the RTU lacked transparency. There is no coordination between the university and engineering colleges. On several occasions they have changed the examination date, said the aggrieved students.

Saurabh Barmecha, an engineering student appearing for the third semester exam is still awaiting the second semester result. "If I score less in any subject in second and third semester, I will have to reappear in the fourth semester exams," added Barmecha.

General Discussion : One Night Stand Before Exam

. Thursday 28 April 2011

Let us talk about that famous kind of study of one night stand followed by the engineering students. First let me tell you what one night stand before exams is for those who don’t know it. One night stand before exams is a kind of study in which one tries to complete most of the syllabus in the night before the actual exams, then after giving the exam manages to get passing or good marks. Many of the students talk about it and somewhat feel proud by doing this (it is actually very difficult to complete syllabus of an engineering subject in one night). So what actually happens in a one night stand for exam next day that many students manage to pass the exam…?
First of all understand this that no one can complete an engineering subject in one night; having said that we also know that one night stands are actually successful and many students crack the exam by doing this. So how does this happen anyway….? The success of one night stand depends on many factors and they are:

Luck
Yes luck is one important factor here. It purely depends on your luck that which questions will come in the exam; the ones you have prepared or the ones that you have not. You may argue that luck is nothing but being prepared when opportunity comes, but lets not go into that here (we are talking about one night stand that means we cannot have much of a preparation).

Kind of subject
There are many kinds of subjects in any engineering syllabus. There are around 45-50 (this may vary for different branches) subjects in all the semesters of engineering. So the success of one night stand depends on the difficulty of the subject; all theory subject and you can be assured of passing that, all or most part of the subject being numerical problems then just forget about passing through one night stand.

Group Study
The success of one night stand study greatly depends on this. Study in a group has its benefits, let different people study different things, and then discuss what you all have studied with each other. A great amount of time is saved in this way and also more syllabus is covered.

Prior knowledge
If you have some prior understanding of the subject through the classes then you have increased chances of passing the exam through one night stand.

One night stand is very important for engineering students as many of them don’t study for the whole semester. The advantage of this is that you can have all the fun and great time of the engineering life without the worry of exams, the obvious disadvantage is having back logs if failed to pass the exams.

I would say not to totally depend on one night stand, start your preparation 8-10 days before exams, give a good fight in night before exam and the actual exam and you can be assured of passing any subject.

News : IIT-Kharagpur director made accused in AICTE scam

. Wednesday 27 April 2011

NEW DELHI: CBI has made Damodar Acharya, director of IIT, Kharagpur, as an accused in the scam involving the All India Council for Technical Education. Acharya was the chairperson of AICTE when approval to many existing technical institutions was granted.

In its latest report to HRD ministry, CBI has also recommended regular departmental action for major penalty for the lapses committed by Acharya. An employee can be dismissed under the regular departmental action, sources said. It remains to be seen what action HRD ministry takes against Acharya. So far the ministry has been going as per CBI recommendation and has taken action against many AICTE officials.

Acharya's involvement relates to the extension given to Padmavathy College of Engineering (PCE) for 2006-07. CBI said AICTE had appointed a three-member appraisal committee to assess PCE. The assessment was based on the information furnished by the institute as well as the visit by the committee. Considering faculty shortage in the institute, the appraisal committee had reduced the intake from 180 to 90 seats. Acharya, CBI said, "did not consider the recommendations of the appraisal committee and took a decision to maintain status quo". Accordingly, the institute was given extension of approval.

Highlighting the role of Acharya, CBI said, "He did not consider the recommendation of the appraisal committee contravening the conditions, guidelines, norms and regulations of the AICTE which would clearly establish his official misconduct." CBI also pointed out that Acharya "did not bother to issue directions for rectifying the defects pointed out by the appraisal committee. Therefore, he failed to protect the interests of the AICTE to maintain uniform standards in institutions of higher education and prevent the commercialization of technical education."

For 2007-08 also, the institute was given a year's extension despite information about shortage of faculty and the staff not being paid salaries as per AICTE pay-scales.

Introduction:
An organic light emitting diode (OLED) is a light-emitting diode (LED) in which the emissive electroluminescent layer is a film of organic compounds which emit light in response to an electric current. This layer of organic semiconductor material is situated between two electrodes. Generally, at least one of these electrodes is transparent.
OLEDs are used in television screens, computer monitors, small, portable system screens such as mobile phones and PDAs, watches, advertising, information, and indication. OLEDs are also used in light sources for space illumination and in large-area light-emitting elements. Due to their early stage of development, they typically emit less light per unit area than inorganic solid-state based LED point-light sources.

Introduction:
The six-stage evolution of IP telephony started in 1995. In stage one, the IP Telephony industry introduced personal computer (PC) software that allowed users to make telephone calls over the Internet. Both ends of the connection needed the same software. It was an economical way to make long-distance international calls. The cost was several hundred dollars up front but allowed unlimited free telephone calls over the Internet. Stage two allowed phone calls over the local enterprise companies' intranet network. Stage three connected intranets to the Internet for low-cost voice-over IP (VoIP) between enterprise intranet networks. In 1998, we also began to see common nomenclature as well as interoperable standard products. The media gateway (MG) and media gateway controller (MGC) were introduced as IP elements that we considered separate from the underlying PSTN.

Introduction:
A ternary computer (also trinary computer) is a computer that uses ternary logic (three possible values) instead of the more common binary logic (two possible values) in its calculations.
One of the earliest calculating machines, built by Thomas Fowler entirely from wood in 1840, was a ternary computer. The only modern, electronic ternary computer Setun was built in the late 1950s in the Soviet Union at the Moscow State University by Nikolay Brusentsov, and it had notable advantages over the binary computers which eventually replaced it (such as lower electricity consumption and lower production cost). In 1970 Brusentsov built an enhanced version of the computer, which he called Setun-70.

Multiple Resumes

. Monday 25 April 2011
0 comments

Gone are the days when people create a resume and apply to all the jobs with that same resume. Today if you want different and quick results you need to do something different in your process of job hunting. These days having multiple resumes for multiple job profiles is becoming a trend, the reason is simple that you cannot apply for the job of a goldsmith if you have woodcutter written in your resume (just for example). Now you must be thinking that why do we need multiple resumes if we are to apply for the jobs in the same field; and the answer to that is today there are a lot more career options than before. Also if you want to have opportunities of a broader range then you need to write multiple resumes.

Follow these guidelines to create multiple resumes for different job profiles:

  • Create a main resume with all the skill sets and experience that you have. Write it as a normal resume but never use it to apply it for any job.
  • Now for every different job profile you want to apply for, create a separate sub-resume from that main resume that you earlier created.
  • Remove all the skill sets that are not relevant to the details in the job description; this also includes removing any relevant projects, internships, trainings and working experience. The reason for that is simple, everything in your resume either increase or decrease its value, remove the ones that are not adding up anything to the value.
  • Follow this process for every other job that you apply for and keep creating alternate resumes.
  • It is also important not to show yourselves overqualified for any temporary job that you would like to do until you find yourself the job of your interest.
  • Try to match your resume with the job description, it may be time consuming but its worth the effort.
  • Never give false information about you or your skills in an attempt to match yourself with the job profile, its better not to apply for the job of which you don’t have enough knowledge.

This process will surely help you landing on a job faster than usual and will give you an edge over other job seekers.

Good luck with your job hunting.

News : Cut the carb, stay healthy

According to a new study you may be doing more harm to your liver than you think if you consume a diet that is rich in carbohydrates. Reducing carbohydrate intake is more effective than cutting calories, especially for people who want to remove unhealthy fat content from their liver, says a recent US
research.

“What this study tells us is that if your doctor says that you need to reduce the amount of fat in your liver, you can achieve the desired results more swiftly than you thought. You can do something of this sort within a month,” said Jeffrey Browning, who led the study at the University of Texas-Southwestern.

The results could have a bearing on treating numerous diseases, including diabetes, insulin resistance and non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases, or NAFLD, the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition reports.

Breakfast“Weight loss, regardless of the mechanism, is currently the most effective way to reduce liver fat,” added Browning.

Mind your liver
The disease, which affects as many as one-third of adults in America alone, can lead to liver inflammation, cirrhosis and liver cancer, according to a Southwestern statement. The problem however is not region centric. Given sedentary lifestyles and eating habits it can pose as a problem for people across the countries.

Low-carb versus low cal
For the study, researchers assigned a group of participants with NAFLD to eat either a low-carbohydrate or a low-calorie diet for a period of 14 days.

The participants assigned to the low-carb diet limited their carb intake to less than 20 grams a day, the equivalent of a small banana or a half-cup of egg noodles, for the first seven days of the period assigned for the study.

For the final seven days, they switched to frozen meals prepared by Southwestern’s Clinical and Translational Research Centre (CTRC) kitchen that matched their individual food preferences, carbohydrate intake and energy needs.

Those assigned to the low-calorie diet continued their regular diet and kept a food diary for the four days preceding the study.
The CTRC kitchen then used these individual records to prepare all meals during the 14-day study. Researchers limited the total number of calories to roughly 1,200 a day for the female participants and 1,500 a day for the males.

After two weeks, researchers used advanced imaging techniques to analyse the amount of liver fat in each individual. They found that the participants on the low-carb diet lost more liver fat.

Both the low-calorie dieters and the low-carbohydrate dieters lost an average of 10 pounds.

News : Twitter bad for your romantic life

London, April 22, 2011
Twitter users' romantic relationships don't last as long as those of non-tweeter and the problem gets worse as users get older, a new study has revealed.

The result concluded by OkTrends - the research arm of free online dating website of OkCupid - comes from a survey of 833,987 of its 7million users, reports the Daily Mail.

Twitter

The study found that an 18-year-old Twitter user has an average relationship-length of around nine months while non-tweeters - defined as 'everybody else' - enjoy an average relationship of nine and a half months.
But the problem intensifies as the users get older and by the time Twitterers hit 50, the disparity stretches to a two month gap.

The average relationship length for Twitter users at that age is 15 months as opposed to 17 months for 'everybody else'.

"Unfortunately, we have no way to tell who's dumping who here; whether the Twitterati are more annoying or just more flighty than everyone else," said the website.

News : Internet only 'partly free' in India: Report

.

NEW DELHI: In its latest report on the state of the internet, Freedom House puts India 14th on a list that ranks 37 countries on the basis of free and unrestricted access to the web. The list was topped by Estonia. According to the report, the internet is only "partly free" in India. It says that even though there is no substantial political censorship, bloggers and online users have been arrested in the last two years.

Among Asian countries, India is on the second position. The country scores 36 points on a scale of 100 compared to South Korea's 32. Less number denotes better access to the web. In 2009, India had scored 34 points.

Freedom House is an organization based in the US, monitoring democratic changes, human rights and freedom of speech.

"The Indian blogosphere is quite active and eloquent, complementing the rise in internet use by different interest groups and civil society actors. Bloggers are rarely forced by the government or private individuals to take down their writings, but there have been a few instances in which this has occurred," the report says.

The report specifically cites the example of Lakshmana Kailash K. "He was jailed for 50 days for allegedly defaming an Indian historical figure online," the report says. "It later emerged that another person had posted the material, and Kailash was arrested based on the (basis of a) wrong IP address."

"In the past, instances of the central government seeking to control communication technologies were relatively rare. However, following the November 2008 terrorist attacks in Mumbai and with an expanding Maoist insurgency, the need, desire, and ability of the Indian government to control the communications sector have grown," states the report. "Pressure has also increased on private intermediaries to remove certain information. Though most requests have targeted comments that might incite communal violence, some observers have raised concerns of certain removals being unnecessary."

On the overall state of the internet, the report says that even in democratic countries like Brazil, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Turkey, and the UK, internet freedom is increasingly undermined by legal harassment, opaque censorship procedures, or expanding surveillance.

"The new internet restrictions around the globe are partly a response to the explosion in the popularity of advanced applications like Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter, through which ordinary users can easily post their own content, share information, and connect with large audiences," says the report. "While mostly serving as a form of entertainment, over the last two years these tools have also played a significant role in political and social activism."

The report talks about wide gulf between urban and rural areas when it comes to internet penetration in India. "There is a pronounced urban-rural divide, with an approximate rural user base of just 6.46 million, and only 4.18 million active users. It indicates there are approximately 10 times more urban internet users than rural internet users in India," says the report.

News : Cisco accused of plotting engineer's arrest

.

NEW DELHI: Networking giant Cisco has been accused of orchestrating the arrest of a UK-based engineer. Cisco Systems allegedly led to the arrest of Multiven founder Peter Alfred-Adekeye in 2010 to force a settlement of Multiven's antitrust lawsuit against Cisco, a Multiven executive reportedly said.

According to a report in ComputerWorld, Multiven, an independent provider of service and support for networking gear, sued Cisco in 2008, alleging that the company monopolized the market for its software. Cisco countersued, charging Alfred-Adekeye of hacking into Cisco's computers and stealing copyrighted software.

The media report says that in May 2010, Adekeye was arrested in Vancouver, Canada, on 97 counts of intentionally accessing a protected computer system without authorization for the purposes of commercial advantage, according to his arrest warrant.

The ComputerWorld report quotes Canada-based Vancouever Sun, according to which "US authorities made serious mistakes having a British computer executive bizarrely arrested in Vancouver as he testified before a sitting of the American court he was supposedly avoiding."

The report says that for the last 10 months, Adekeye has been forced to remain in Canada since his release from custody under strict bail conditions.

His lawyer, Marilyn Sandford, called the explanation contained in a letter presented to BC Supreme Court "completely pathetic", and characterized the prosecutor's reasoning as "tortured" and "laughable," reports Vancouver Sun.

Sandford reportedly alleged that the US attorney colluded with computer giant Cisco Systems to commit an appalling abuse of process. "This was not full, fair and frank disclosure," she said. The prosecutor failed to tell Canada that Adekeye was a former Cisco executive involved in a massive anti-trust suit filed in Dec. 2008 against the company.

Adekeye's lawyer has asked Justice Ronald McKinnon to halt the extradition.

Adekeye left Cisco in 2005 to start his own companies. Three years later, he alleged that his former employer Cisco harmed his new ventures and consumers by forcing customers to buy a maintenance contract to cover future software fixes for its operating system and applications.

Project Report Tutorial

.

In this tutorial we will learn how to make a project report. Let us first learn what is actually a project report; a project report in a broader sense is the complete report of the project from the beginning to the ending, covering all the objectives, project building phases, project functionalities, scope, cost, time etc. Here we are specifically talking about project report of the projects that are made in the final year or pre-final year of computer science/information technology engineering course.

Making a project report is not actually that difficult as it sounds, all you have to do is follow these guidelines and format for making the project report of your software or web application. The basic requirement of this is the knowledge of any popular and good word processing software like MS Word.

You need to have your project ready before you actually start creating the project report. It usually takes around a day or two to make the project report. So now let us start learning how to actually do it by following these guidelines:

Starting Page
The starting page consists of the following items:-

  • Project name
  • Your Name
  • Your College/University name and address.
  • Degree name
  • College/University Logo
  • Name of guide teachers
  • Name of group members (if required).

You can find the format and arrangement of all of the above items in the sample project report provided for download with this tutorial. The starting page does not contain headers, footers and page numbers. Also print out this page in colored ink.

This page contains the project certificate which is to certify that you created the project (this certificate may not be of that much use to you in the future but still it should be included in the report). The certificate contains your name and optionally the names of your group members. It is signed by the head of department later at the time of submission.

Table of contents
As most of you may already know, table of contents contains all the topics of the report in a tabular format. The contents are displayed in the form of Serial Number, Topic Name and Page Number. You can either use serial numbers or bullets/sub-bullets to list the topics here. Also this page is added in the last after the completion of the report.

Acknowledgement
This page is used to acknowledge the help and support that you received from any person. Acknowledge each and every person personally here; give all your thanks in all the way you want.

Introduction
This part contains the introduction of your project. Put a brief introduction of your project here and write about all the functionalities that are present in the project. Tell about the scope of your project, the advantages, and the benefits over the earlier system etc. Have around one to two pages of introduction about the project. Don’t put too many details here; introductory part should not be made very long.

Objectives of the project
Put the objectives of the project here. Either put your own in this part or just put the one provided in the sample report, they fit perfectly with most projects.

Feasibility Study
Feasibility study by definition is “A feasibility study is an evaluation of a proposal designed to determine the difficulty in carrying out a designated task”. There are different parts of feasibility study, they are:

  • Technical Feasibility: Technical feasibility is related to the hardware and software to perform the essential computing.
  • Economic return Feasibility: The new system should be economically beneficial. For that the cost/benefit analysis is performed.
  • Non-economic return feasibility: The system can be justified based n benefits in the monetary terms.
  • Time Feasibility: the system should be implemented within the mentioned time constrains.
  • Legal and Ethical Feasibility: The new system should exist within the legal and ethical boundaries.

Explain the above points in 3-4 lines, so as to cover all aspects of the feasibility study of the project. The objective at this stage is to provide solutions to stated problems usually in the form of a specification, it actually depends on you that how much you want to explain things here.

System Requirement Specification (SRS)
A one line definition of SRS is given as:
“SRS is a vital piece of documentation that is crucial to the success of any software development project.”

If one cannot precisely state what the system should do, how can we develop the software with any confidence, and how can we hope to check that the end product meets its need, and that is the purpose of SRS document. Professional and separate SRS documents are created in professional working environment of companies, but here we just need to give a basic idea. You can download the sample SRS template provided with this tutorial; just fill in the information in the sections that you feel are necessary for your project.

Other optional parts that you can include are Requirement Analysis and System Analysis.

Data dictionary
In this part if you have used any database then list and describe about all the tables and their columns, their data type etc. explain in detail about the tables and their purpose in the project.
Create ER-Diagram and put it after the database description to explain the relationships between different tables of the database. You can create the ER-Diagram in MS PowerPoint, or any tool available online for download.

Here is the ER-Diagram reference that you can follow to learn more about them.
ER Diagram

Create data flow diagram afterwards, you can learn to make them form here:
Data Flow Diagram

System Requirements
Write the minimum system requirements of your project, you can have the following requirements listed:

  • Operating System required
  • Processor
  • RAM
  • Hard Drive Space
  • Any third party drivers or applications (that you cannot distribute with the project), etc.

Development Environment
Use this page to give the information about the development environment that you have used, it basically includes the programming languages, database systems or any other tools that you have used. List the name of programming language/environment and its version, database system and its version and any other tools used.

User Interface
In this part you have to explain the parts or systems of user interface. To put simply, list all the menus, dialog boxes (for windows application) and web pages and their forms (for web application). List them all and give a one or two liner description about them.

Next we have to describe each and every form or web page in detail. It follows a general format (which can be changed according to requirement) which you can use for every other form or web page.

For Windows Application

  • Start with the name of the form, then its one liner information below the name.
  • Write the summary of the form in 3-4 lines.
  • Give information about all the controls in the form in either a tabular form or simply copy-paste the designer code.
  • Put the image or screenshot or the form. You can do that by using the ‘Print Screen’ button on your keyboard, it copies the computer screen in image format in the clipboard; you can then paste it in any image processing software, like MS Paint etc.
  • List of controls in tabular form
  • Put the code of the form after that.

For Web Application

  • Start with the name of the web page and one liner description after that.
  • Write the summary in 3-4 lines.
  • Put the screenshot of the web page.
  • And lastly put the code of the entire web page after that.
Title and summary of web page

If you have used any other modules or classes then put them also, by following the same format, examples are any classes or external code files.

Limitations
Here you put the limitations of your project; you can describe what else could have been done and the limitations for that. The limitations can be technical, economical, time dependent etc.

 Conclusion
In this part write in brief the basic idea of the project. Try to put in something new here without repeating anything from the above. Try to take things to introduction of the project and giving it a decent ending.

 Headers and Footers
Use headers and footers for page numbers, project name, branch name and college name. Arrange them as you like but don’t put too many details in them.

This is just a basic format that you can follow to make a project report, you can make any changes and improvements in this format if you want but try to make things systematic in a project report.
